GPS tracking and fleet telematics for businesses that run on wheels
See where every vehicle and asset is right now, how it's being driven, when it's due for a service and what it's costing you. One platform, local support, and FBT logbooks that fill themselves in.
You shouldn't have to ring a driver to find out where they are
Picture a Tuesday morning. A customer calls wanting to know when the tech will arrive. A ute that should be in the yard isn't. The accounts team is chasing three drivers for their logbooks because FBT season is coming. None of this is unusual, and all of it eats time you don't get back.
Catch-e Telematics puts every vehicle, driver and asset on one screen, so those questions get answered in seconds.
Know where everything is
Live location for every vehicle, trailer and piece of equipment.
Cut running costs
Cut idling, speeding and missed services.
Keep people safe
Spot risky driving early and coach it out.
Everything you need to run a fleet, in one place
Start with tracking and add the rest as you need it. Every feature below runs on the same platform, on desktop and mobile.

Watch your whole fleet move on a live map, and replay any trip to see exactly where a vehicle went and where it stopped.
- Real-time location over the 4G network
- Full trip and stop history with playback
- Geofences around depots, job sites and customer locations
Reporting and analytics
Turn raw location data into reports you'll actually use, and have them land in your inbox on a schedule.
- Trip, stop, idle, speed and utilisation reports
- Kilometres by vehicle, driver, cost centre or period
- Scheduled reports by email (daily, weekly, monthly)
FBT and fuel tax credit reporting
Records that back up your logbook and fuel tax credit claims.
- Electronic logbooks with business and private trip classification
- Reports that separate on-road and off-road travel for fuel tax credit claims
Maintenance management
Service vehicles on actual use instead of guesswork, and stop finding out about a problem when the vehicle breaks down.
- Service schedules by kilometres, engine hours or date
- Reminders before a service falls due
- Engine fault code alerts (on compatible vehicles and devices)
Driver behaviour and safety
Score every driver on how they actually drive, and give managers the data to coach instead of guess.
- Speeding, harsh braking, harsh acceleration and harsh cornering events
- Driver scorecards and leaderboards
- Excessive idling reports
Alerts and notifications
Set the rules once and get told the moment something needs attention.
- Geofence entry and exit
- Speeding and after-hours use
- Unauthorised movement and tamper alerts
Driver management
Know who was behind the wheel on every trip, and keep licences and documents in one place.
- Driver identification by key fob, app login or facial recognition (Catch-e Vision)
- Licence and document records with expiry alerts
- Trip history by driver
Asset tracking
Keep tabs on the things that don't have an engine, or don't have a driver.
- Battery-powered trackers for trailers, containers, generators and tools with multi-year battery life
- Solar-powered trackers that never need a battery change
- Hardwired trackers for plant and machinery with engine hours
FBT logbooks that keep themselves
The operating cost method needs a valid logbook covering 12 continuous weeks. Paper logbooks get filled in from memory and don't hold up well if the ATO comes asking.
Catch-e Telematics records every trip automatically. Drivers tag each one as business or private in the app, and the logbook report is ready when you need it, backed by two decades of Catch-e FBT software.
Electronic FBT logbooks
- Every trip captured automatically with odometer readings
- Business and private classification by driver, with a manager review step
- Private use and after-hours use flagged
- Logbook reports designed to meet ATO logbook requirements
Supporting data for fuel tax credit claims
If you run heavy vehicles or equipment and claim fuel tax credits, the amount you can claim depends on how the fuel was used. Catch-e Telematics records on-road and off-road travel and engine hours, giving you the usage data to back up your claims.
- On-road versus off-road kilometres by vehicle
- Engine hours for plant and equipment
- Reports by period to line up with your BAS cycle
Catch-e Telematics provides records and reports to support your FBT and fuel tax credit obligations. Talk to your tax adviser about how these apply to your business.
Catch-e Vision: AI dashcams that see what you can't
A dashcam that only records isn't much use until after something goes wrong. Catch-e Vision watches the road and the driver in real time, warns drivers before an incident happens, and streams live video to your dashboard so you can see what's going on from anywhere.
- Live video streaming from multiple cameras
- Forward collision, lane departure and following-too-close warnings
- Fatigue, microsleep and distraction detection
- Phone use, smoking and seatbelt alerts
- Automatic driver identification by facial recognition
- Driver SOS / duress button

Telematics is the combination of GPS tracking and vehicle data. A small device in the vehicle sends its location, speed, kilometres and other data over the mobile network to the Catch-e Telematics platform, where you can see it live and run reports.
A plug-in tracker takes a few minutes and you can do it yourself. A hardwired tracker or Catch-e Vision camera is fitted by a technician.
Yes. Every trip is recorded automatically with odometer readings, and drivers classify trips as business or private in the app. You can run a logbook report for your 12-week period whenever you need it.

We recommend written notice to all drivers before tracking starts and a clear workplace policy. This isn't legal advice, so check the rules where you operate.
