Platform & Getting Started
Catch-e works with fleet leasing companies, novated lease providers, salary packaging organisations, dealer groups, charitable organisations and enterprise employers managing in-house fleet programs. If your operation involves complex leasing or salary packaging workflows, we're built for it.
Implementation timelines vary depending on the complexity of your operation and the number of integrations required. During our initial conversation we'll give you a realistic estimate based on your specific environment, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all timelines.
Yes. Catch-e is a cloud-hosted SaaS platform. Data is stored in Australian data centres, and the platform is built to meet enterprise data security requirements including ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
Yes. We have experience supporting migrations from legacy fleet and salary packaging platforms. Data migration, workflow mapping and parallel-run periods can all be planned as part of an onboarding engagement. Bring it up in your initial conversation and we'll give you an honest assessment.
We offer a guided demo tailored to your organisation type, this is more useful than a generic self-serve trial because it focuses on the workflows and capabilities that are actually relevant to your operation. Book a demo via the form above and we'll arrange one.
General
Catch-e is Australian cloud-hosted software for novated leasing, salary packaging and fleet management providers, built and run here since 2002. It administers the full contract lifecycle — quoting, contracts, payroll-aligned deductions, funds movement, FBT compliance and reporting — across many employers at once.
Catch-e is designed for novated leasing providers, salary packaging administrators, fleet management organisations, vehicle finance brokers, charities and public benevolent institutions, car subscription operators, dealer groups and enterprise employers running in-house fleet programs. It suits any operation running high-volume, compliance-sensitive programs across multiple employers and payroll environments.
Yes, and has held it for over ten years. Catch-e holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification (certificate 1833-I-1) under a JAS-ANZ-accredited certification body, covering formal information security controls, access management, audit logging and operational security practices across the platform. The management system is independently audited three times a year.
Catch-e includes built-in FBT governance, cap monitoring aligned to FBT periods, employer-specific packaging rule configuration and end-of-FBT-year reporting outputs. The platform is registered with the ATO as an approved software provider.
Catch-e does not publish standard pricing, because cost depends on which products you run, the size of your portfolio and the integrations you need. Pricing is quoted per organisation after a demo. Talk to the team and we will scope it against your actual volumes rather than a list price.
Catch-e was founded in September 2002 by Gray Quinn and Ian Rawlings and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. In 2025 it was acquired by Banyan Software, which acquires and holds enterprise software businesses for the long term. Catch-e continues to operate as its own product and team.
The best starting point is to book a demo with the Catch-e team. We tailor the conversation to your organisation type and the specific workflows you need to manage. You can book a demo via the Contact page and a team member will respond within one business day.
Novated Leasing
Catch-e manages the full novated lease lifecycle, from structured quoting and salary packaging configuration through to contract creation, payroll-aligned deductions, mid-term variations, lease rollovers and contract completion. Each stage is supported by workflow controls and audit records.
Yes. Catch-e is designed for multi-entity operational structures. Novated leasing providers can manage dozens or hundreds of employer clients, each with their own packaging rules, payroll configurations and reporting requirements, within a single governed platform.
Catch-e records each employer's FBT cap categories and reports employee benefit usage against them, including end-of-FBT-year reporting outputs per employer.
Yes. Catch-e supports integration with a wide range of payroll platforms through structured payroll export files, scheduled data transfers and API-based connections. Deduction schedules are aligned to each employer's pay cycle and the platform prepares pay run outputs accordingly.
Catch-e manages mid-term contract changes including vehicle variations, salary or packaging changes, employer transfers and refinancing events. Each variation is processed through a structured workflow with appropriate approval controls and updated contract documentation.
Yes. Catch-e includes role-based portal access for different user types. Employee-facing portals provide visibility of lease details, packaging balances and benefit status, reducing inbound enquiries to the leasing provider's administration team.
Salary Packaging
Catch-e supports a wide range of packaging benefit types including vehicles (novated leasing), meal entertainment, remote area benefits, portable electronic devices and other employer-approved benefit categories. Benefit item configuration is flexible and employer-specific.

Yes. Large employers managing in-house novated lease or salary packaging programs can use Catch-e to administer their programs with structured payroll alignment, benefit configuration, employee-facing portals and compliance reporting, all within a multi-entity capable platform.
No. Catch-e is designed to integrate with your existing payroll, HR and accounting systems rather than replace them. The platform sits at the operational layer of leasing and salary packaging programs, exchanging structured data with your existing technology stack.
Starting Out
Yes. Catch-e supports providers from around 30 vehicles upward, on the same platform established providers use at scale. A new provider starts with quoting, contracts and payroll-aligned deductions working from day one, rather than assembling tools as the book grows.
A straightforward single-entity set-up typically goes live in weeks rather than months. The Catch-e team does the set-up work, and the timeline is confirmed against your specific environment during a demo rather than quoted as a one-size-fits-all figure.
No. Catch-e is a cloud-hosted SaaS platform accessed through a web browser, with hosting, security and upgrades managed by the Catch-e team. There is no on-premises installation, and no IT hire is needed to operate it.
The full operating loop: structured vehicle quoting, quote-to-contract conversion, payroll-aligned deductions, running-cost budgets, claims and reporting. The pieces work together from the first contract, so early wins do not create an administration backlog later.
Yes. Growing providers add employers, products and volume on the same platform rather than migrating to a bigger system later. Catch-e runs operations from tens of vehicles to portfolios of thousands across many employers.
Scaling Up
Yes. Catch-e replaces workbook-based administration with one governed system of record: contracts, budgets, deductions, claims and reporting in one place, with audit records on every change. Migration from spreadsheets is planned and done with the Catch-e team.
Yes. Each employer is configured independently with their own packaging rules, payroll settings and reporting requirements, and all of them are administered from one platform. This is the core of how Catch-e is built, not an add-on.
Growth in contracts does not require proportional growth in administrators. Structured workflows, payroll-aligned deduction runs, automated reconciliation and self-service portals absorb volume, so the team handles exceptions rather than every transaction.
Migrations are sequenced employer by employer around pay runs rather than as a single cutover, so no one's pay is at risk. Part-year FBT positions carry across so year-end still reconciles, and the Catch-e team does the migration work rather than handing over an import template.
Portfolio-wide reporting across contracts, budgets, deductions and claims, with per-employer views and exportable outputs. Status is visible in the platform rather than reconstructed from separate workbooks.
Enterprise
Yes. Catch-e is built for multi-entity structures: multiple operating entities and many employers, each with their own rules, payroll configurations and reporting, administered on one governed platform with role-based access control throughout.
Catch-e holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification (certificate 1833-I-1), independently audited three times a year, with data stored in Australian data centres. Security documentation, compliance summaries and certification information are available for vendor assessment processes.
Yes. Catch-e exchanges structured data with payroll, banking, accounting and servicing systems through secure file exchange over SFTP, scheduled transfers and structured import and export frameworks, so it complements an existing ERP and payroll stack rather than replacing it.
Role-based access aligned to operational responsibilities, segregation of duties where required, approval workflows on operational events and comprehensive audit logging recording who did what and when. Audit trails are tamper-evident and retained for compliance review.
Catch-e administers 92,078+ active assets and has facilitated $2.5B in payments, with 99.96% platform uptime and more than 20 years in continuous production for Australian and New Zealand providers.
Comparisons
Most Australian platforms cover novated quoting and contracts well. Catch-e also administers salary packaging in the same system: benefit catalogues, FBT cap categories, payroll-aligned deductions and year-end reporting across many employers at once. If your operation runs vehicles and benefits together, that combination is the difference. If it is vehicles only, a narrower tool may suit you better.
Building makes sense if your commercial advantage is a way of working no platform supports, or you already run a software team. What is easy to underestimate is not the build but everything after it: FBT method changes, cap thresholds moving, payroll and banking file formats, ATO reporting, and the security certification customers will ask you for. A common middle path is to buy the administration platform and build your own differentiator on its APIs.
Yes. The sharpest edge in any migration is part-year FBT: taxable values, days available and employee contributions already applied all have to carry across or year-end will not reconcile. Migrations are normally sequenced employer by employer around pay runs rather than as a single cutover, so no one's pay is at risk, and the Catch-e team does the migration work rather than handing over an import template.
No. Catch-e operates in Australia and New Zealand, built around the statutory and operating-cost FBT methods, the Employee Contribution Method, grossed-up caps and ATO reporting, with data stored in Australian data centres. If you need one platform spanning countries beyond Australia and New Zealand, a global contract management platform is the right category and we would tell you so.
Three questions separate platforms quickly. How does it calculate FBT under both methods and apply the Employee Contribution Method? What happens when an employee resigns eleven months into a 36-month lease, and who calculates the payout? What independent security certification do you hold, and what is the certificate number? The third is checkable; the first two are where operational cost accumulates.
Integrations & API
Catch-e supports REST-based APIs, secure CSV and file-based data exchange, webhook-driven integrations, automated scheduled file transfers and structured import/export frameworks. The appropriate method depends on the external system and the nature of the data exchange required.
Yes. Catch-e integrates with payroll platforms through structured payroll export files and API-based payroll connections. The platform generates pay run outputs aligned to each employer's payroll schedule and format requirements, ready for import into your payroll system.
Yes. Catch-e supports banking and payment integrations for disbursement and financial reconciliation workflows. This allows the platform to coordinate funds movement as part of the leasing and salary packaging operational cycle.
Yes. Catch-e produces structured data exports for FBT calculations and end-of-FBT-year reporting, covering employee benefit valuations and employer FBT liability inputs. The platform also reports benefit usage against each employer's recorded cap categories.
Yes. Catch-e provides REST API access across core platform functionality. The API enables external systems to query contract data, submit transactions and retrieve reporting outputs in a structured and authenticated manner. API coverage continues to expand.
Yes. Catch-e integrates with vehicle servicing and running-cost providers to support maintenance claims, fuel card management and running-cost tracking across lease portfolios.
Yes. Catch-e supports structured import and export frameworks for bulk data operations including contract uploads, employer configurations, payroll data and reporting extracts. These can be delivered via secure file transfer or API depending on volume and frequency requirements.
Catch-e is designed to integrate with existing enterprise technology environments rather than replace them. Whether you're running a major ERP, a specialist payroll platform or a combination of systems, we'll assess compatibility during your demo and confirm what integration approach best suits your environment.
Security & Compliance
Yes. Catch-e holds ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management systems. This reflects the implementation of formal security controls, policies, risk management processes and continuous improvement practices across the platform and organisation.
Catch-e data is stored in Australian data centres. The platform does not store sensitive operational or payroll data outside of Australia, which is particularly important for organisations with data sovereignty requirements.
Catch-e applies a structured role-based access control model. Users are assigned roles aligned to their operational responsibilities, such as backoffice administration, employer program management or dealer coordination. The platform enforces segregation of duties where required and includes controlled account provisioning and deactivation processes.
Catch-e maintains comprehensive audit logs across operational workflows, recording who performed each action, when it occurred and what changed. This supports compliance reviews, internal audits and dispute resolution. Audit trails are tamper-evident and retained in accordance with operational requirements.
Catch-e encrypts data both in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to sensitive financial and payroll data is controlled through role-based permissions. The platform also implements environment segregation between production, staging and development environments to prevent unauthorised access to live data.
Catch-e follows secure development practices including code review processes, dependency management, vulnerability scanning and structured release governance. Changes to the platform go through a controlled deployment pipeline with appropriate testing and approval gates before reaching production.
Catch-e maintains a formal incident response framework as part of its ISO 27001 compliance program. This includes defined escalation paths, containment procedures, notification obligations and post-incident review processes.
Yes. The Catch-e team can provide security documentation, compliance summaries and relevant certification information to support enterprise procurement and vendor assessment processes. Contact us via the Contact page to request this documentation.
