Banyan Software acquires Catch-e

Banyan Software, a long-term acquirer of mission-critical software businesses, has acquired Catch-e, backing the next chapter for our fleet leasing and salary packaging platform.

A platform built for this industry

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Melbourne, Catch-e provides a purpose-built platform for novated lessors and fleet management companies, with deep functionality across lease origination, payroll integration, regulatory compliance and fringe benefits tax processing.

The platform is recognised for its strong domain expertise, configurable workflows, and integrations across payroll, HR and vehicle-data systems, the operational backbone our customers run their programs on every day.

Why Banyan

“Catch-e has carved out a unique position in the Australian fleet leasing and salary packaging space with a product that’s deeply embedded in customer workflows,” said David Brice, APAC Group President at Banyan Software.

Banyan backs software businesses for the decades ahead, which means continuity for customers and sustained investment in the platform, rather than change for its own sake.

New leadership for the next chapter

Matthew Talia, CEO of Linxio (another Banyan Software company), takes on the role of CEO of Catch-e, overseeing product modernisation, customer engagement and the rollout of Banyan’s long-term operating plan.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with the team to modernise the product, strengthen our relationships, and continue delivering the reliability customers depend on,” Talia said.
Catch-e founders Ian Rawlings and Gray Quinn welcomed the move: “In Banyan, we found a partner who shares our long-term vision and will support Catch-e’s next chapter.”

What it means for customers

Nothing changes about the service you rely on today, and the roadmap ahead gets stronger. With Banyan’s backing and a renewed leadership team, we’re investing in modernising the platform while keeping the reliability, compliance and domain depth Catch-e is known for.
